A Mindful Coaching Program with Jonathan Duran, moderator: Merit Solara Duran
For many students, the 7 Steps are powerful — but at some point something begins to happen.
You start to wonder…
Am I going deep enough?
Why do I sometimes feel like I’m spinning in circles with the technique?
Is there something more to this practice that I’m missing?
After working with thousands of clearing sessions over the years, I’ve noticed something important.
Many practitioners today are moving very fast through the process.
Fast clearing can be helpful — but sometimes depth is lost when speed increases.
And this technique was originally practiced very differently.
Before Arnoux Goran began formally teaching the technique, he practiced it privately for years with close friends and students.
One of those people was Jonathan Duran.
Jonathan learned the old school 7 Steps in 2003, before it became a structured teaching program. For years, he practiced it in its original form—slower, deeper, and far more mindful.
Over time, Jonathan has also woven in his own work through shamanic healing and dreamwork, bringing an added layer of depth, intuition, and integration to the process.
Earlier this year, when I had something significant to clear, Jonathan sat me down and coached me through the original style of the 7 Steps.
I was honestly blown away.
The depth of what cleared was profound.
Layers released that I had not accessed before.
It reminded me that sometimes slowing down actually takes us further.
Across many healing and spiritual traditions, depth often comes through slowing down.
In yoga there is Yin Yoga — slow, deep, and intentional.
In Tai Chi movements are practiced extremely slowly to cultivate awareness.
Even in relationship and intimacy there is a well-known book called Slow Sex that explores how slowing down creates a completely different experience.
Jonathan has been practicing the 7 Steps this way for over 22 years.
Through that time he has developed a mindful approach that treats each clearing session — whether with a client, a buddy, or yourself — as a sacred healing process.
In this special coaching program, Jonathan will teach:
This is not simply a review of the steps.
This is a deeper transmission of the roots of the practice.
Learn the original spirit of the Goran 7 Steps.

Intuitive Coach • Healing Practitioner • Early Practitioner of the Goran 7 Steps
Jonathan Duran is an intuitive coach and healing practitioner with over two decades of experience working with transformational practices that help people clear emotional patterns and access deeper levels of awareness.
Jonathan first learned the Goran 7 Step clearing process in 2003, before it became a widely taught system. During this early period, the technique was practiced privately among a small circle of students and friends of Arnoux Goran. Jonathan spent years working with the practice in its original form — slower, more mindful, and deeply experiential.
Over the past 22 years, Jonathan has continued refining this approach, bringing a heightened level of presence, intentionality, and depth to the clearing process. His style emphasizes slowing down the practice, allowing deeper subconscious layers to surface and release.
Jonathan’s broader background includes training in shamanic practices, dream analysis, hypnosis, and intuitive development, as well as degrees in Fine Arts and Anthropology from Pitzer College. His work is also informed by his connection to the cultural traditions of the American Southwest and his roots in Colonial Spanish and Native American heritage, which shape his respect for sacred process and mindful healing work.
Today, Jonathan works with individuals and groups to help them move beyond emotional patterns, access their inner clarity, and develop deeper awareness of the mind and subconscious.
In this program, Jonathan will guide students through The Roots of the 7 Steps — the original rhythm and emphazing the mindful pacing of the practice — revisited and enhanced through more than two decades of experience.
Join us for a rare opportunity to learn the the Infinity Repatterning Method — a modality sharpened and enhanced through 22 years of practice.
