In January 1964, a paper published by the American Society for Psychical Research explored something that most modern intuition trainings still don’t fully understand.
Intuition is not about guessing. It’s about how information is received internally.
That alone is a huge distinction. But what’s even more fascinating is this: they were already experimenting with internal imagery systems — early versions of what we now teach as structured intuitive perception.
And buried in that research is something incredibly aligned with what we use today…
🌹 The Rose.
The paper focused on methods of response in ESP (extrasensory perception) — how a person receives and translates subtle information. Instead of focusing only on whether someone was “right” or “wrong,” the researchers started to notice something deeper: the internal process mattered more than the outcome.
They observed that intuitive impressions came through as images, symbols, subtle impressions, and inner visualizations.

While the research didn’t formalize it the way we do today, it pointed toward something we now understand clearly: the mind needs structure to interpret subtle information.
In our school, we use this through the Clair Sight Methodâ„¢ — a structured internal imagery system that allows students to receive intuitive data visually, separate their own energy from what they’re reading, increase accuracy without guessing, and stabilize perception over time.
This is the evolution of what those early researchers were beginning to see:
Without structure, intuition becomes noise. With structure, intuition becomes reliable.
Most programs today still focus on “trust your intuition,” “just feel into it,” or “follow your gut.” But the 1964 research — and what we teach — points to something very different.
Intuition is a skillset, not a feeling.
Because here’s the truth: your nervous system affects your perception, your emotional patterns distort what you see, and your subconscious filters shape your interpretation. So if those aren’t cleared, you’re not reading clearly — you’re reading through distortion.
At the School for Intuitive Ascension, we don’t just teach intuition. We teach how to clear the patterns that distort perception, how to build a structured internal receiving system, and how to stabilize your awareness so it becomes consistent.
Because the real work isn’t just seeing. It’s seeing accurately.
Even though the researchers identified the importance of internal imagery, they didn’t yet have a full clearing system, a repeatable method for removing distortion, or a structured training path for mastery.
That’s where our work comes in.
Our school integrates what early research hinted at with what actually works in real transformation. Our modality stack includes:
This is not just intuition training. This is identity-level perception work.
What started as early exploration in 1964 has now become something fully teachable, trainable, and repeatable.
The rose wasn’t random. It was a glimpse into something deeper — a symbolic interface between consciousness and perception.
And now, we’ve turned it into a system.
You don’t need more information. You don’t need to “try harder” to be intuitive.
You need to clear what’s distorting your signal — and learn how to receive information in a structured way.
That’s the difference between guessing… and knowing.
